Fashion design institute, INIFD presented their collection on the third day of Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018. At the previous edition of BTFW, the students presented a collection inspired by Mumbai, which was a hatke (unique) collection!

This time the fashion students of INIFD Bandra opened the third day of BTFW with their show. They presented L.I.T (Luxurious Innovative Trend) collection.

The students presented six collections on the runway, keeping the festive season in mind. From shimmery pieces to jewel tones, the collection is a delight for all the brides and grooms!

The Bridal L.I.T collection was in an array of festive hues. From blues, reds to pastels, the students used all the glam colours for the collection.

For one of the collections, the runway witnessed models walking in colourful hijabs.

The Harit Mumbai collection was based on the focal point, Green Mumbai. The idea of the collection was to spread awareness and become more sensitive towards the environment and the destruction caused by pollution.

On this opportunity, Vivek Dhawan, Director of INIFD Bandra said, "We always promote the concept of innovation and out of the box ideas. My favourite of all the six collections our students presented is Beyond Borders."
"The motive was to bring peace to both countries with a fresh wave of ideas and innovations," he further added.

"The hijab collection promotes breaking barriers and exploring the creative side of traditional wear," said Vivek in a statement.

The show was closed by Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva Universe 2018, Nehal Chudasama. She graced the ramp in a shimmery lehenga. She looked breathtaking in the sparkly outfit, which was complimented by her crown.

The closing show was done by designer, Lakshman Saw. He presented a bridal collection, that promises to be affordable.

"I wish to see myself among the top designers in coming years and the affordable bridal collection is my first step in the direction," shared Lakshman.
