LV's historic boutique is back

After three years of meticulous restoration, Louis Vuitton has unveiled its reimagined flagship store at the prestigious Via Montenapoleone 2 in Milan. This iconic address, set within the historic Palazzo Taverna, has been transformed into a luxurious cultural hub that blends Italian heritage with the Maison’s enduring elegance.

2/5

A love letter to Milanese architecture

Spearheaded by renowned architect Peter Marino, the restoration pays homage to Milan’s neoclassical charm. The Palazzo’s original façade with its ionic columns designed by Ferdinando Albertolli, remains intact, reflecting a timeless Milanese sophistication. Inside, elements like staircases inspired by Villa Necchi Campiglio and a luminous central courtyard crowned with a glass skylight further echo the region’s architectural grandeur.

3/5

From boutique to cultural destination

Far more than a retail space, the flagship is a multi-sensory experience. The store features locally sourced noble materials from Lombardy workshops and artfully curated interiors that mirror Louis Vuitton’s savoir-faire. Guests can explore contemporary art installations and an entire floor dedicated to the brand’s Objets Nomades, a design-led home collection that celebrates craftsmanship and innovation.

4/5

Culinary chic: Café Louis Vuitton and DaV restaurant

Making its Milan debut, Louis Vuitton steps into the culinary world in partnership with the esteemed three-Michelin-starred Da Vittorio group. The newly opened Da Vittorio Café Louis Vuitton and the fine dining restaurant DaV by Da Vittorio serve up Italian flavours with a luxurious twist. Think “haute snacking” and refined dishes like osso buco with saffron risotto, shaped like the iconic LV Monogram flower.

5/5

Fashion meets fine living

This reopened flagship is not just about shopping - it’s a full expression of Milan’s evolving lifestyle scene. With its seamless blend of fashion, art, design, and gastronomy, the Louis Vuitton Via Montenapoleone 2 store sets a new benchmark for luxury retail.
