Qubool hai in a grand manner

Sanjeeda Sheikh dated television actor Aamir Ali for seven years and finally said 'qubool hai' to him in a grand manner on March 2, 2012, at the Gymkhana Club in Mumbai. The wedding was followed by a star-studded reception with all eyes glued on the celebrity couple. However, after a successful run of 10 years, the duo got separated but are still co-parenting their daughter Ayra Ali. The sacred bright green

In Islam, green is known to be a lucky color and a sacred shade. Abiding and following all the customs according, Sanjeeda opted for a bright green shade kurta-sharara set which had detailed silver work all over her attire and matched the look with a dupatta in same share which featured a heavy silver border detailing. The perfect tailored kurta wrapped around her fit body and looked stylish and traditional, as she proceeded for her ‘Happily Ever After.’

The stunning ornaments

Sanjeeda Sheikh opted to keep her whole styling loud and on point, making it a day she could call her own. She wore a heavy silver studded necklace with small green stones and matching earrings, maang tika, and a big round chained nath. She added green and silver bangles and wore two big silver and green shade rings on both her hands.

The 2000s makeup game

Sanjeeda opted for a maroon lip shade with a black winged liner and dark kohl eyes. Keeping her eyebrows brushed and long, she wore a dark shade of contour with brown blush around her cheeks which accentuated her sharp jawline. However, her highlighter game remained on point, as she kept a sleek highlighted touch around her nose and cheekbones.

Following the wedding, the very same day, the duo threw a star-studded reception, as she carried her gorgeous green and silver outfit and Aamir Ali looked dapper in the shade of black. Several Bollywood names also marked their presence including Harman Baweja, Sohail Khan, and Shabbir Ahluwalia.

The Bandhani red lehenga

For her mehendi and haldi ceremony, she wore a red Bandhani print lehenga with a corset-style multi-colored blouse in shades of red and orange. She made a French braid with subtle white beading and added a golden necklace with colorful bangles. Keeping her makeup subtle for the eve, she looked beautiful in simple kohl eyes and minimal pink lips.

The ‘Heeramandi’ effect

Sanjeeda Sheikh’s career took a turn as she was seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series ‘Heeramandi’ alongside Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shermin Segal, and Richa Chaddha. She essayed the role of Waheeda and nailed her acting skills, grabbing the opportunity to work with one of India’s leading directors.
