Best dressed at the Critics Choice Awards 2026

Celebs who stunned at Critics Choice Awards 2026

The Critics Choice Awards have quietly kicked off the 2026 awards season, and while the trophies matter, fashion lovers know this is really where the mood gets set. Think of it as the soft launch before the full red-carpet drama unfolds in the coming months, all the way to the Oscars in March. And if this night was anything to go by, Hollywood is easing in with confidence, not chaos.

Held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, this year’s ceremony leaned into a more relaxed kind of glamour. No over-the-top theatrics, no forced “look at me” moments. Instead, stars showed up in outfits that felt considered but effortless, polished but not heavy. Many had only just returned from holiday breaks, and it showed, in the best way possible. Sleek silhouettes, clean tailoring, and modern eveningwear ruled the black carpet.

2/7

Ariana Grande

At the Critics Choice Awards, Ariana stayed firmly in her style groove, turning to Alberta Ferretti once again. She wore a custom pink satin gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline, elevated by a sweeping, embroidered cape that flowed all the way to the floor. Soft, romantic, and quietly dramatic, the look felt like a natural extension of her recent red-carpet run.

3/7

Teyana Taylor

Teyana Taylor was impossible to miss. She arrived in a sharply tailored Saint Laurent look by Anthony Vaccarello that blurred the lines between power dressing and red-carpet drama. The feather-detailed double-breasted jacket brought a touch of attitude, while the matching trousers, crisp shirt, and wide tie leaned fully into menswear territory. Leather gloves and thigh-high boots added edge, while understated Tiffany & Co. diamonds kept things refined. It was confident, cool, and very Teyana.

4/7

Jessica Biel

Jessica Biel delivered one of the night’s most eye-catching moments in Lanvin. Her halter-neck gown felt light as air, shimmering softly as she moved. Designed by Peter Copping, the backless dress featured layers of mesh and lace, finished with gold sequins that caught the light without overwhelming the look. Cartier jewellery in yellow and white gold added just the right amount of sparkle.

5/7

Mia Goth

Mia Goth went in the opposite direction and proved that simplicity can still be striking. She chose a white silk Dior gown that was almost minimalist at first glance. The off-shoulder draping highlighted her collarbones and shoulders, letting the fabric do all the talking. With delicate Dior jewellery, the look felt calm, elegant, and quietly powerful.

6/7

Chase Infiniti

Chase Infiniti brought a fresh pop of colour in a custom Louis Vuitton ensemble. Her sleeveless, high-neck top featured intricate draping, paired with a flared skirt in soft yellow crepe georgette. The silhouette felt modern and unfussy, and Messika high jewellery elevated the look without stealing focus.

7/7

Justine Lupe

While black was a popular choice on the carpet, Justine Lupe chose to stand out. She wore a pale teal chiffon gown by Prada that felt light, fluid, and refreshing. Crystal tie details added subtle drama, while Boucheron jewellery and Prada accessories kept the look cohesive and chic.

All in all, the Critics Choice Awards didn’t scream for attention, and that’s exactly what made the fashion work. It was a reminder that awards season style doesn’t have to start loud to leave an impression. Sometimes, ease is the real statement.
