Standout celebrity style moments of the week

Fashion moves faster than your Instagram refresh grid, where some standout celeb looks slip through the cracks and fail to make it to the iconic column. Beyond the headline-making red carpet moments and all the viral paparazzi shots, we seek inspiration from unexpected pairings and off-duty fits, placing them safely into our fashion playbook. Let’s see 5 looks from the week that you might have missed but surely need to catch up on.

Tamannaah Bhatia

Tamannaah Bhatia arrived at a film screening in Mumbai wearing a chic mini dress from the luxury label Shushu/Tong. Drenched in rich twill fabric with black-greying tones, the velvet trim added to the hemline, introducing a playful layer of texture and instantly elevating the piece. She matched its prowess with an almost blazer-like jacket, which looked stunning with this fit and frill ensemble.

Malaika Arora

Malaika was spotted in town, arriving at her newly launched restaurant Sweeney, in a sensual all-black ensemble. At 52, she taught us how to amplify a subtle ensemble with minimal styling, rewriting the notes of quiet luxury. She wore a floor-length black dress with a high neckline, featuring a sleeveless design on one side and a full-length sleeve on the other. What changed the game was her thigh-high slit detailing, which created the right amount of impact.

Alanna Panday

Ahaan Panday’s elder sister, Alanna Panday, is known for her soft and quiet luxury aesthetic. But the diva took a fashion turn with her Coachella wardrobe, entering the rebel child era with corsets, boots, and more. For Day 1, the diva wore a brown criss-cross tie-in fitted corset paired with dark brown shorts and stunning boots that had tonnes of fringes attached. She completed the look with a quirky bag, a stack of bangles, and a statement scarf.

Anne Hathaway

If there is one thing Anne Hathaway knows how to do, it’s how to look spectacular. The diva recently appeared on the red carpet for her upcoming film ‘Mother Mary' and looked no less than a walking work of art. She wore a Lever Couture creation constructed from layers of white organza with a sleeveless charm, which felt architectural and absolutely dramatic. The waist-down transition had the internet talking, as it swiftly turned into a ruffled skirt that revealed her legs.

Kritika Kamra

For the promotions of her upcoming project, Kritika Kamra hopped onto the polka dot trend, wearing a vintage-inspired custom peplum dress by Gauri & Nainika. The figure-hugging two-piece featured a retro polka-dot print with a sleeveless top, a scoop neckline, and a matching sleek fitted skirt.
