Billy Porter is the Ranveer Singh of Hollywood

American stage performer, actor, singer and director became the talk of the town, courtesy his experimental ensemble at the Oscars 2019 red carpet. And, that was enough for Indians to start drawing parallels between Billy and Bollywood's man of the moment- Ranveer Singh. We tried to compare some stylish photos of the two stars and were pleasantly surprised to learn that their fashion sense is indeed very similar. Here's a look at ten pictures that prove Billy Porter is the Ranveer Singh of Hollywood.
2/11

The fondness for shades

Both the stylish men own the widest collection of shades and these glasses become a part of their individual personality now.

3/11

Love for bold prints

Billy, much like Ranveer loves to flaunt bright and bold prints, whether it's on his suits, jackets or pants.
4/11

It's not fashion if it's subtle

Subtlety is not considered fashionable for people who love to experiment with their style. And that, holds true for both these stars.
5/11

The riot of colours

They love colours and the fact oozes out of their wardrobes. By the way, how many of you would dare to wear these two outfits?
6/11

The mad hatters

The two sexy boys love hats and we absolutely love this fact about them.
7/11

Faux fur is LOVE

When it comes to Billy, his Instagram profile is full of pictures that showcase him wearing faux fur and Ranveer has just started picking up the trend.
8/11

Wait, what?

On the left, you see a tuxedo jumpsuit and on the right chequered pants, a sweater and a fur coat - overindulgence is in, too.
9/11

The classic black and white

The two looks are different yet so similar - basically weird is the new cool!
10/11

The gully boys

Both the boys slay in their respective streetwear looks.
11/11

Pink Panthers

Belly in Randi Rahm's much talked about custom couture suit reminds us of Ranveer's three piece brown suit which he teamed up with a pink drape.
