Ariana Grande stunned on the 2025 Oscars red carpet in a custom Schiaparelli gown, a variation of a design from the Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025 ‘Icarus’ collection. The dress, which featured over 190,000 crystals, was even more radiant than the runway version, with a pinker and more sparkly finish. Styled by Mimi Cuttrell, Grande’s look captivated with its glamour and dazzle. On Instagram, she shared her joy with fans, saying, “Oscars, I love you @danielroseberry @schiaparelli @theacademy, I am floating with gratitude.” To complement the look, Grande wore makeup from her own brand, r.e.m. beauty, which included the “Wicked Ozdust” eyeshadow palette, “Eclipse” blush, and lipstick in ‘Matinee’. Cynthia Erivo pays tribute to Elphaba with Louis Vuitton

Cynthia Erivo, nominated for Best Actress for her portrayal of Elphaba in 'Wicked', graced the red carpet in a custom Louis Vuitton gown that paid homage to her iconic role. The dark green velvet dress featured a dramatic bow-like bodice and a high collar, reminiscent of the 'Emerald City' and its enchanting colour scheme. Erivo described her ensemble as a “proper ode to Oz,” drawing inspiration from the green and gold hues of the mythical land. “It takes a while, and every time we do a carpet, we do them over,” she explained. “This time we did a proper ode to Oz.”

Erivo’s red carpet look wasn’t complete without her incredible nails, designed by LA-based nail tech Mycah Dior. One of her nails featured an intricate clock design, while another showcased a stunning gold detail. Erivo shared that the clock was handcrafted, adding a personal touch to her already show-stopping ensemble. "She made it by hand," Erivo said, adding an extra layer of artistry to her Oscar look.
