Bollywood’s ‘Mr. Perfectionist’, Aamir Khan, walked the red carpet at the 2002 Academy Awards. Attending the 74th Oscars for his film ‘Lagaan’, which was nominated in the Best Foreign Language Film category, the actor was spotted in a black knee-length sherwani featuring intricate embellishments in the same shade and completed the look with a pair of black pants and a dupatta. The actor was seen sharing the spotlight with his ex-wife Reena, director Ashutosh Gowarikar, and his wife Sunita Gowarikar.

RRR cast

Creating history at the Oscars 2023, the ‘RRR’ cast featuring Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, and director SS Rajamouli was spotted in traditional fits representing their homeland at the Oscars 2023. Jr. NTR was spotted in a black asymmetrical knee-length sherwani with a boasting gilded golden embroidered tiger patch on one of his shoulders, whereas Ram Charan was spotted in a straight-fit sherwani with chain detailing brooches around his pocket. The director of the film accompanied the latter in a plain purple knee-length kurta and completed the look with contrasting beige-hued dhoti-styled pants.
