Happy Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 Wishes

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, during which the Muslim community observe fast from dawn to dusk. Ramadan is considered to be the holiest month as per Islam. It is believed that in this month Allah (God) first delivered the verses of the Quran. As per other beliefs, the month of Ramadan was originally started when Prophet Mohammad migrated from Mecca to Medina.

Muslims all around the world abstain themselves from eating, drinking, smoking from sunrise to sunset in this holy month of Ramadan. The Islamic calendar is based on the phases of the moon, hence Eid is celebrated after spotting the Shawwal moon. This year, Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to be celebrated on April 11.

This festival is celebrated with a lot of fervour. People greet each other, exchange gifts and feast on special delicacies.
