Anne Frank

Anne Frank was a young German Jewish girl who is among the most popularly known victims of the ghory Holocaust during the World War II. She maintained a diary during this time, the contents of which reflect her strength and maturity far beyond her years. She lived with her family and some others in cramped quarters with no way of going out or interacting with anyone of her own age. Though she would vent her misery in her diary, she still managed to keep busy and remain positive and that shows in her wise words. Unfortunately, she did not survive the war but her father did and he published her diary posthumously. Since then it has become a modern classic. Here are some words from her diary that might help you find the strength to smile in hard times, as she did.
