When I found them…
I loved comic books since I was very young and I have kept my collection carefully, as paper decomposes very fast. I started to read Commando Comics since the age of nine, when my mother’s brothers used to bring them home from the library. Soon, I began to buy them, too.
What are they about...
Almost all these comics are based during World War II and each is like a mini World War II film. The artwork etc is realistic and the plots are so fabulous!

Some years ago, I actually commissioned a used paper and book dealer to source old Commando Comics from all over Mumbai. Now, I have a fairly large collection, but am looking forward to more. There is a smartphone application for these comics and you can buy new issues too, which is exciting.
Tip to collectors…
Comic book collection can be an expensive hobby. So, try looking for old copies or exchange a few with friends. Conventions are also a good way to buy back issues. But, I guess I’ll never give away my comics.
