Five types of readers: Which one are you?

Reading books is an activity that several of us enjoy. A thought-provoking book with a cup of warm coffee in hand - is the definition of a perfect weekend for many. In addition, we all have friends who are voracious readers or like to collect books. And we do have observed some kind of pattern amongst them. Yes, while some of them fit in the group of avid readers, others fall in the category of those who pretend to be so! Now when we have tickled your mind with this, here is a look at the 5 types of readers everyone knows.

2/6

The classics reader

This type of reader is likely to be found at bookstores that offer a rare copy of a classic like 'Jane Eyre', 'Pride and Prejudice', or 'Romeo and Juliet'. There are high chances that they have read every classic known to humankind, and they have done it for sheer fun, not to boast about it. Also, their language and vocabulary are full of quotes from the classics they have read. They are usually sophisticated, and whenever you want to have a deep literary conversation, they are perfect to do so.

3/6

The Harry Potter fan

This person behaves as if the world is Hogwarts and they are the Harry Potter in it. They never read anything besides the Harry Potter series and they have done so like a million times. They know what house all their friends would be in, they know how to make Butterbeer, and they know every little spell from the series! They are the best ones to accompany you on a fantasy trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

4/6

The one with the prettiest books

Reading a book is not as important for them as collecting beautiful books. They might have a rare handmade copy of a classic book with beautiful engravings. Even if they have a digital version of a book, they can't resist buying hard copies of them. Most likely, their dream is to own a beautiful library one day.

5/6

The one who has read everything

No matter how rare or little-known a book is, they have read them all. Whenever you ask this person if they've read a book, the answer is always "yes." You are never able to understand where they find the time to read so much, but somehow, they have read every book known to have existed!

6/6

The partial readers

Even if they try very hard, these people are never able to finish a book. No matter how invested they are in the beginning, they eventually lose interest, get distracted, or simply move on to the next book. While they claim to have “read a book,” you can never expect a correct answer regarding the second part of it from them!
