Beauty lessons to learn from Deepika Padukone's wedding

Deepika Padukone's bridal looks

If you're getting married this wedding season and are looking for some major make-up inspiration, then take a cue from Deepika's wedding looks. Here are a few lessons we have learned from her:

2/5

Keep your hair comfy

For pre-wedding celebrations like mehendi or haldi, you can go for updo hairstyles for fuss-free rituals and celebrations. Take a cue from Deepika's mehendi photos, where she is sporting a loosely-tied bun. Such hairdos will keep you free while getting the henna done!

3/5

Go traditional

When opting for traditional weaves or silk saris, think of traditional hairdos like a bun with gajra. We loved how Deepika went for tonnes of gajra flowers on her bun.

4/5

Keep your base natural

A lot of brides make the mistake of looking too different at their wedding. Try to keep your look as natural as possible. When it comes to your foundation and base, it should be like your second skin. We loved Deepika's all-natural make-up for her Konkani wedding. Instead of following the trend of highlighter and contouring, she is seen flaunting her natural skin, which is a winner!

5/5

Highlight your main feature

Another mistake a lot of brides make is to highlight everything on the face. From bold eyes, bright lips to highlighted cheeks, all of this can actually look too much with wedding outfits. Take a cue from Deepika Padukone, who went for bold eyes for both her functions. For her Konkani wedding, she is sporting kohled look with a nude lip colour. For her Sindhi-Sikh wedding, she sporting smokey eyes with a light pink-toned lip colour.
