An easy guide to salon-free fruit facial at home

Has this period of lockdown taken a toll over your skin? And are you already missing out on all the skin care routines and beauty treatments at a salon? Sure you do. But considering all the dangers of visiting public places, it is crucial that you maintain social distancing and avoid crowded areas, while also taking care of your skin and yourself simultaneously.

Certainly, visiting a salon and getting a facial treatment is much easier and demands less effort. However, in such critical times, managing your beauty routine at home is not only wiser but also safer. With these easily available ingredients and following these simple steps, you can give yourself a wonderful and refreshing at-home facial routine and enjoy the comfort of a salon.

2/6

Cleansing

Every skin care routine begins with cleansing. In order to remove all the dirt settled on your faces, you must first cleanse your skin with water and with raw milk. After washing your face with water, you can pour a little bit of milk in a bowl and use a cotton ball to apply it on your face and neck. Leave it for 10 minutes and let it dry.

3/6

Exfoliate your skin

After applying the milk-based cleanser, you can use a natural exfoliator like a lemon to remove all the dead cells or leftover residues on the skin. To prepare the scrub, you can mix a teaspoon of lemon juice with some baking soda and can add some water to build consistency. After the paste is prepared, you can apply it on the face and scrub for five minutes. This will bring back the radiance and smoothness on your skin.

4/6

Unclog the pores

While you may have removed all the dead cells and leftover residues from the skin, your pores may still be clogged. To unclog your pores and to let your skin breathe, you must steam your face. You can either use a facial steamer or add some steaming hot water in a bowl. Bring your face close to it and cover it with a towel. This will not only open up your clogged pores but will also help you get rid of the blackheads.

5/6

Prepare a fruit pack

Having completed all the basic skin care routine, you can now move on to the next step and prepare yourself a fruit pack suitable for your skin type. Your face pack can vary according to your skin needs. If you have a dry skin, you can opt for a banana and honey mixed pack. Similarly, if you are looking for an anti-aging face pack, you can make one with papaya pulp and honey. For oily skin, go for something that contains berries and lemon juice.

6/6

Apply the prepared face pack

Finally, you can apply your fruit pack on your face and neck and gently massage these areas for better outcome. After having massaged for 10 minutes, you can leave it for another five minutes. Then, you can wash it off with plain water and pat it dry with a soft face towel.

You will notice a considerable change in your skin and will experience the comfort of a salon at home.
