5 simple ways to keep your eyebrows groomed at home

Eyebrows, a facial feature that helps to define and frame the face, well almost. If you're missing the eyebrow grooming sessions at parlour during the partial lockdown, you can give your brows a makeover at home. Here are some simple tricks and tips to keep your brows in shape.

2/6

Use the plucker wisely

If you're using a tweezer, make sure you don't over pluck your brows. If you are planning to groom your eyebrows, you can start plucking from the middle area. You can also use a pencil to mark the middle area to avoid too much gap in between them. A lot of space between the brows can make your face look wider. So, while plucking, keep checking and evaluating in the mirror to avoid any faux pas.

3/6

Trim the lengths

If you've cleaned the middle part of the brows, the next thing you can do is trim the length. This will help your brows to look symmetrical. Use a spoolie brush to push your brows upwards. And, with the help of tiny scissors you can trim the excess length and keep it symmetrical.

4/6

Pluck the extra hair

For a clean and groomed shape, you can use the help of a tweezer to pluck excess hair. Follow the same trick of brushing your brows up. This will help you to see the excess hair above the eyelid and on the brow bone. If you have a bushy growth, plucking can cause too much pain and won't be the best solution.

5/6

Use an eyebrow razor

For excess growth above and below, you can use a razor to shave off the excess hair. This is one of the best at-home solutions for bushy brows. You can use a pencil to highlight the desired shape and carefully shave the excess part off.

6/6

Fill in the brows

No one is blessed with perfect brows, but a little bit of make-up can solve that. Use a shadow or a pencil to fill in the sparse areas and shape your brows. For black brows, one can use grey colour, which won't look too stark on the brows.
