Is Kapil Sharma losing his charm?

According to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, Kapil Sharma has turned down an offer to feature as a guest on Shah Rukh Khan's new game show India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun that premieres on &TV from March 2, 2015. Apparently Kapil, who anchors his own show Comedy Nights With Kapil was asked by his channel Colors not to feature on any competition based show, the report further stated. However the representative of Colors channel denied the reports and said that it is Kapil's own decision whether he wants to be on some other show, and that they have nothing to do with it. Last year when the sets of Comedy Nights With Kapil caught fire, SRK was one of the first celebrities to offer his support. Kapil Sharma rejecting to return the favour by himself looks unlikely, the report concluded.

While Kapil Sharma seems to be best at entertaining his guests, there have been a few low points in his life too. Read on to know more...

Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar had come on the show to promote their film Shaadi Ke Side Effects. The duo had come on a very important occasion as a wedding sequence of Kapil’s bua was being organised. While the theme was interesting, Farhan seemed visibly bored at the occasion. Vidya went on a banter about husbands, giving occasional tips. While there was little of Kapil’s humour.

Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor had come on the show to promote their film 2 States. The film had done really well at the box office. But the two stars apparently lacked the panache that Comedy Nights With Kapil is known for. When he had nothing to say to Arjun, Kapil simply picked up the phone. It seemed like the ace comedian was not prepared for this.

Is Kapil Sharma losing his charm?

Shekhar Suman has himself been a judge on several comedy shows, but he had to come down to the king of comedy to promote his film. Shekhar, along with son Adhyayan Suman, visited the sets of Comedy Nights With Kapil to promote their film Heartless. It seemed like Shekhar had taken over the show, showing off his humorous side, constant talks and romantic tactics. Eventually Shekhar asked Kapil how he felt interviewing Shekhar Suman. Adhyayan too was trying to live up to the comic timing.

Veteran actor Vinod Khanna and Suniel Shetty made an appearance on the show to promote their film Koyelaanchal. However, Vinod Khanna had little interest in the jokes that Kapil Sharma tried to crack, while Suniel too had little to contribute to the show in a comic sense. A few female fans of Vinod bagged the opportunity to dance with the actor, who was sporty enough to groove a bit.

Another dull moment dawned on the show when Kapil invited a double whammy of guests. Comedy Nights With Kapil, popular for movie promotions, had the team of O Teri! on the sets. The episode started with Kapil trying to scare others with an artificial tiger, which he also tried to sell to his audiences as an extremely laughable idea. Producer of O Teri!, Atul Agnihotri, tried to crack a few jokes. The team of O Teri! then made an exit, while Vijender Singh and Jwala Gutta came in. The guests tried hard to keep audiences entertained, with Kapil’s one-liners coming in to save the day.
