Scenic garden inaugurated by CM at Zabarwan foothills

Inaugurated by the Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah for this season, the garden is situated on the foothills of the Zabarwan Range and overlooking the iconic Dal Lake, the garden offers a stunning visual experience, making it a tourist destination for both domestic and international tourists. Historical background

The garden was established in 2007 by the then chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to promote floriculture and extend Kashmir’s tourist season, which was previously limited to summer and winter. (Photo: PTI)
