Sadhu Charan Panigrahy was barely out of his teens when he decided to march to Ayodhya with friends. The year was 1990 and it was the height of the Ram Janmabhoomi agitation. Panigrahy, now 54, was wounded in police firing on November 2, 1990, while trying to enter the Babri Masjid with other kar sevaks.
