AMRITSAR:Notwithstanding the decision on most favoured nation(MFN) status, Pak businessmen w ant their Indian counterparts to trade their products in the Pakistani market for mutual benefit.
Pakistani traders who are here to participate in trade fest are of the view that free trade will not only allow businessmen of both countries to explore untapped markets, but will also pave way for permanent peace in the region.

Pakistani trader Amrudeen of Nadeem Enterprise said there must be direct and liberal trade between both the countries.
"As in India, there is craze about Pakistani products among people, similarly people in Pakistan are enthusiastic about Indian products," he said.
Another trader Ahmed Khan from Amber Collection said the shared trade relation between both the countries will flourish the mutual understanding too.
"We the common people want the liberal exchange between the two countries; all grudges are between the governments of both nations only," he said.
Bagam Aiyashaa of "Shehnaz Fashion" said their handmade designer suits of Shiffon and Pashmina was being highly appreciated by the people here. She said though both nations were sharing the same nation, but government policies were creating hindrance in smooth trading.
"We get the visa just for 10-15 days and it is also of just one city which is very unfair that we can't go to other cities for trade or for just visiting the place," she lamented.
