Not only political parties but people want to oust BJP, says Akhilesh Yadav
NEW DELHI: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Monday said that it was not only the political parties but all the people in India who want to oust the BJP.
Yadav was reacting to the possibility of an alliance of all the opposition parties for the Lok Sabha election.

"Not only the political parties but all the people in India want to oust BJP. Main samajhta hoon aane wale samay mein aap dekhenge ki ek bahut achha gathbandhan tayyar hoga," Yadav said.
"India is lagging behind on several fronts. Inflation and petrol-diesel prices are rising. Hum chahte hain BJP waale aisa chamatkar karein, unki aarthik neetion ka aisa chamatkar ho ki jitna aaj dollar mein rupya aa raha hai, ek din aisa aaye ki rupaye mein utne dollar aaein," he added.
Earlier, Yadav had urged all the opposition parties to unite to oust the BJP and said if the saffron party is defeated in Uttar Pradesh, it can be stopped from coming to power at the Centre.
The SP chief had claimed that the people want a new prime minister after the 2019 Lok Sabha polls as he accused the BJP of "spreading lies and animosity".
