Why Congress is protesting?

The Congress party is protesting against alleged irregularities in the NEET exam, demanding the resignation of education minister Dharmendra Pradhan.


The National Testing Agency (NTA), criticized for its mismanagement, is organizing a retest for 1,563 NEET candidates who were previously given grace marks due to time lost at six centers. Despite calls for cancellation, Pradhan stated that the government would not cancel the NEET exam, which saw 24 lakh candidates across 4,750 centers on May 5.
