Former leader of opposition Ajay Singh recalled Ajit Jogi as collector of Sidhi. "News of the death of Chhattisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi is extremely sad. As collector of Sidhi he came in contact with late Dau Saab (former Congress leader Arjun Singh) and became his confidant. Later he left civil services and joined politics.
