Implementation of CAA

The BJP during the launch of its Lok Sabha manifesto said it will implement the Citizenship Amendment Act and grant citizenship to eligible people. ​CAA, passed by Parliament on December 11, 2019, and getting the President's assent the following day, met with protests all across the country.

Implementation of UCC

The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has pledged to enforce the Uniform Civil Code. UCC is a common set of laws for citizens governing personal matters such as marriage, divorce, inheritance, and adoption. Notably, Uttarakhand became the first state in India to implement UCC earlier this year.

One Nation One Election

The BJP also said that it will implement One Nation, One Election in the country. "We have set up a High Powered Committee to examine the issues of conducting simultaneous elections and will work towards the implementation of the recommendations of the Committee," BJP said in its manifesto.

Boost to women empowerment

​The BJP manifesto for the Lok Sabha election gives a major emphasis on the empowerment of women with the creation of more jobs for them in the IT, health and education sectors and sets a target of creating another 3 crore Lakhpati Didis in rural areas. It also mentions about the implementation of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam.

Global manufacturing hub

The BJP party, in its Lok Sabha manifesto laid an ambition to make India a global manufacturing hub. Over the past ten years, BJP said it had made significant progress in the manufacturing sector, including the launch of series of programmes like Make in India, Production Linked-Incentive, and simplification of compliances to expand manufacturing.

'More bullet trains, different types of Vande Bharat'

The BJP in its manifesto vowed to introduce bullet train to other regions of India as well after the completion Mumbai-Ahmedabad project while announcing its manifesto on Sunday. "BJP will also expand Vande Bharat trains to every corner of the country. 3 models of Vande Bharat will run in the country - Vande Bharat Sleeper, Vande Bharat Chaircar and Vande Bharat Metro," said PM.

MSP hike for farmers

The BJP, in its election manifesto, has promised a time-to-time hike in the MSP if elected to power for the third term. "We have ensured an unprecedented increase in MSP for major crops, and we will continue to increase MSP from time to time," BJP said in its manifesto.

The manifesto also mentions to provide free ration for the poor for the next five years under the Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.

Non of the manifesto point to direction of being a developed nation. You cannot make a nation great by giving free rations. You make it great by giving people jobs. BJP want to keep people dependants but does not want to make them self reliant
