Pawan Khera, Chairman of the Media and Publicity Department of the All India Congress Committee, filed his nomination papers today for the Rajya Sabha election from Karnataka.

Several senior Congress leaders and party workers were present on this occasion, including Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, Congress Working Committee (CWC) member and former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President B K Hariprasad, and Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge.

Pawan Khera's nomination marks a significant step towards further strengthening the Congress party's organizational and ideological leadership in Parliament.

Bharatiya Janata Party leaders Tarun Chugh and Rajneesh Agrawal on Saturday filed their nominations for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections from Madhya Pradesh.

The two candidates submitted their nomination papers at the state assembly complex in Bhopal in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and other senior party leaders, as cited by PTI.

Polling for the three Rajya Sabha seats from Madhya Pradesh is scheduled for June 18, while the deadline for filing nominations is June 9.

BJP has nominated Chugh, the party's national general secretary, and Agrawal, its Madhya Pradesh state secretary, for the biennial elections. The opposition Congress has fielded former MP Meenakshi Natarajan as its candidate.

Officials said measures have been implemented to secure the portal against potential data breaches and cyber attacks. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also shifted all answer-sheet data and records from COEMPT’s servers to its own servers to ensure greater control and security, sources added.
