JNU Alumni Association condemns violence on students, seeks action against perpetrators
NEW DELHI: Calling the attack "shocking and unacceptable", the Alumni Association of JNU (
In a statement, AAJ said that JNU has always been known for debate and intellectual talks where even "sharp ideological differences have not vitiated the academic atmosphere of the campus", leave aside the blood bath and unabated violence in the campus.
"AAJ once again appeals to all students, teaching community and all other stake-holders to rather indulge in meaningful and intellectual debates in keeping with JNU's ethos and legacy; and contribute to counter all attempts to malign our alma mater," it said.
It further said, "It's truly shocking and unacceptable to allow the armed goons, with lathis and stones to enter the JNU campus and create ruckus by perpetrating unprovoked violence on the campus. It's certainly not in keeping with the JNU ethos."
Urging the JNU administration and Delhi Police to ensure that such acts of violence are not repeated again, the alumni association said complete law and order should be restored in the campus where the JNU community feels totally secured in the face of this dastardly attack.

The perpetrators most likely are their own associates to create a drama to get sympathy for them. British did it by placing pig's head in a mosque and cow's head in a temple to get the Hindus and Muslims to hate each other! A well known strategy!Read allPost comment
