The collection includes 14 items including mukut, tilak, emerald ring, ruby ring, a short-round necklace, a panchlada (five-layered necklace), a vijay mala, kamar and baju bandh (​waist and arm belts), kangan (bangles), pag kada (ankle bands), payal (gold anklets), dhanush and baan (as well as a bow and arrow).

Jewellery boasts a total of 18,567 diamonds and more

According to certification reports, the jewellery boasts 18,567 round brilliant diamonds, 2,984 rubies, 615 emeralds, and 439 uncut diamonds. (PTI)

Mukut adorned with diamonds, emeralds and rubies weighs 1.7 kg

The gold crown, adorned with diamonds, emeralds, and rubies, weighs approximately 1.7 kg. It features around 75 carats of diamonds, 135 carats of Zambian emeralds, 262 carats of rubies, and other precious gemstones. (PTI)

Significance of the design of mukut

The inspiration for the design of the ornaments came from Hindu texts and the TV show 'Ramayan', as Ankur Anand, CEO of Harsahaimal Shiamlal Jewellers, Lucknow, explained. He highlighted the significance of each element, stating that the sun in the center of mukut represents the Suryavanshi lineage of Sri Ram Lalla. (PTI)
