​Holi 2025: Border forces celebrate at India-Pakistan, India-Bangladesh frontiers​

BSF personnel posted at the India-Pakistan border in Amritsar celebrated Holi with their families, bringing joy and festive spirit to the border area. Despite being away from home, they ensured the country could celebrate the festival peacefully and safely.

BSF DIG Sachindra Singh Chandel assured that despite the celebrations, jawans are actively patrolling the border. Their commitment ensures that the country remains secure, enabling citizens to enjoy festivals with peace of mind and safety.

Inspector General Suryakant Sharma extended his warm Holi wishes to BSF personnel and their families, acknowledging their dedication to protecting the country. He emphasized that while families may be miles apart, the entire nation stands with them.

Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) soldiers in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, joined in the Holi celebrations by applying colors and dancing together. The soldiers expressed their joy and camaraderie during this vibrant festival, creating a festive atmosphere despite the challenging terrain.

BSF personnel stationed at Border Outposts (BOPs) along the India-Bangladesh border in Darjeeling district also celebrated Holi. The celebrations were filled with excitement as personnel enjoyed the festival while fulfilling their duties at the border.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to extend his heartfelt Holi wishes. He expressed that the festival, filled with colors and happiness, brings new enthusiasm and energy to life, strengthening the unity among all countrymen.

President Droupadi Murmu greeted the nation on Holi, emphasizing the festival’s message of unity, love, and harmony. She urged citizens to pledge to fill the lives of all children with the colors of progress, prosperity, and happiness, reflecting India’s cultural richness.
