Consignment of arm, ammunition and drugs seized

TARN TARAN: Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab police recovered arm, ammunition and drugs from a border village in Tarn Taran district on Tuesday.

A release issued by BSF on late Tuesday evening informed that a consignment of narcotics, arms and ammunition was recovered in a house at village- Rajoke in Tarn Taran district in collaboration with Punjab Police .

The raid, which lasted from 12 pm to 4 pm, culminated in recovery of 1 pistol of .30 calibre, 5 pistol magazines, 108 rounds of 9 mm calibre, 3 rounds of .30 calibre, 3.380 kgs of heroin, and Rs3,03,000 as drug money.

This recovery took place from house of a drug smuggler of village- Rajoke who was arrested with arms and ammunition by the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) Amritsar ,on May 19.
