CM reopens Chhindwara factory

CHHINDWARA: Chief Minister Uma Bharti, who has taken command of this district as incharge minister apparently to break the political bastion of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary, Kamal Nath, has fired her first salvo.
She opened the sick OILFED factory at Palatwada in his home district. The factory was locked up since 1998 and the previous Congress regime did precious little to revive it, despite the fact that more than 10,000 persons were dependent on it for their livelihood either directly or indirectly.
