IPL 2015: CSK vs DD thriller

The second match of IPL 8 was played between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Daredevils. The clash of the titans made for an interesting watch and the 1 run win scored by CSK was a worthy finale to the thriller of a match.

One-hand wonder: Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the master scriptwriter of this suspense-thriller that kept the audience on tenterhooks till the last ball was bowled. While batting for his team, Dhoni once played a one-handed shot. Using his left hand to hit the shot, Dhoni seemed to have redefined the term, 'Baaye haath ka khel!"

Behind-the-scenes: While Saakshi Dhoni diligently attends every match played by the Chennai Super Kings, cheering for Dhoni and his squad from the stands, it seems that she gave IPL 8's first CSK game, a miss. However, it was evident that Saakshi was present in Chennai at the time of the match as MSD's wife had tweeted, "#Ziva s first time in Chennai !!" on April 8. MSD's fans, who are waiting to catch a glimpse of the little one, had turned hopeful after reading Saakshi's tweet. And after little AbRam's antics on the field post KKR's victory, we can only hope for the presence of cute kids throughout the tournament.

Chak De! Nehra: Ashish Nehra played the role of the underdog in the film that was the CSK vs DD match. Managing to flick 3 wickets for a total of 23 runs in his 4 over haul, Ashish Nehra clearly was the wonderboy of the game. It was no wonder that he was awarded the Man of the Match in the post-match presentation ceremony. The usually demure Nehra was seen in a celebratory mode on the field. Guess what he is shouting in the picture above. We assure you that it isn't, "Inquilab zindabad!"

Bravo's victory jig: Trust Dwayne Bravo to entertain on the field with his antics. The bowler was the most entertaining player of the evening. After dismissing Delhi Daredevils' key player, Yuvraj Singh, Dwayne Bravo broke into an impromptu jig on the pitch. The West Indian player is known for his dramatics and he didn't disappoint during this game as well! Was he doing the 'Balle balle?'

To catch or not to catch: Yuvraj Singh, who was bought by the Delhi Daredevils for a whopping sum of Rs 16 crore, was touted to be the team's wild card. With his father, Yograj Singh's inflammatory comments against CSK skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, all eyes were on Yuvraj's performance in Delhi's first game of the season. However, Yuvraj failed to impress with a meagre score of 9 runs. In the picture above, Yuvi seems all ready to catch the ball. But did he?
