Sunil Grover’s upcoming show Mad in India on Star Plus has already created ripples among the audiences as they would get to see their favourite Gutthi again in a new avatar. However this time Gutthi (Sunil Grover) will be known as Chutki. Here we put together few pictures right from the sets of Mad In India exclusively for our viewers. During the event held today on the sets of Mad In India, Sunil Grover gave a glimpse into Chutki’s world, which is similar to that of Gutthi. Though Gutthi’s character shot Grover to fame, it’s certainly not his first appearance as Gutthi on screen .Chutki wears bright salwar-kameez, uses cheap perfumes, and flaunts bright funky colors with two plaits. Chutki is a small town girl. Her Punjabi accented broken English makes her character more engaging and will also focus on the issues of a common man and will have a satirical take on the daily tensions one goes through.

Actor-comedians like Siddharth Jadhav, Rehman Khan, Shweta Tiwari, Manish Paul, Kyali and Dolly Ahluwalia will tickle the funny bone of audiences on the show. While Dolly Ahluwalia will be playing the role of Chutki’s (Sunil Grover) mother named Mango Dolly, Shweta Tiwari will portray a wannabe actress Katrina Mishhra. The guests gracing the sets will be from all walks of life.

One more interesting aspect of this set is that it has been divided into two portions where one is Chutki’s Bharat Nagar and another is where the celebrities would come and have a chat with Manish Paul and Sunil Grover. The set will take a turn when a particular act comes to an end and Sunil Grover aka Chutki will connect the two worlds.

According to reports in the media the first celebrity to grace the show will be Bharat Ratna recipient and The Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
