I am in Love Movie Review

Though romantic stories are plenty in Sandalwood, narration makes them different. Director Nandakumar too has selected a simple love story but hasn’t resorted into any new experiment either in script or narration. He has stuck to the ‘Gandhinagar formula’ of five songs, a couple of fights and sentimental sequences. The only highlight is that the introduction of a new hero and heroine.

The story revolves around Krithi (Kavya Shetty) who falls in love with Mahesh (Mahesh), a fashion photographer. They break up after Krithi gets to know that Mahesh had deserted Marisha (Neha), a model earlier. Krithi loses her eye sight after acid fall accidentally on her face at Mahesh’s studio. Mahesh donates his eyes to her in a dramatic climax. What is that?

While Mahesh has to improve his dialogue delivery and body language, Kavya Shetty is lively in her first appearance. Dharma, Ramesh Bhat have done justice to their roles. Tilak impresses in his brief appearance. Music by Saikarthik has some catchy tunes, but fails to register. Camera by PKH Das is impressive.
