Known as the "Killer Clown," because he publicly performed as Pogo the clown prior to being found guilty of his crimes, John Wayne Gacy preyed on young boys in the 1970s, luring them to his home before brutally murdering them. Convicted of 33 murders, Gacy was executed by lethal injection on May 10, 1994. His last words were hauntingly mundane: "Kiss my ass." Aileen Wuornos

Aileen Wuornos gained notoriety as one of America's first female serial killers, murdering seven men between 1989 and 1990; her tale was one of tragedy and darkness, she often killed the 'johns' who assaulted her repeatedly. Convicted and sentenced to death, she was executed by lethal injection on October 9, 2002. In her final moments, Wuornos declared, "I'd just like to say I'm sailing with the Rock, and I'll be back like Independence Day, with Jesus, June 6th. Like the movie, big mother ship and all. I'll be back." She stayed defiant till the very end.

Jeffrey Dahmer

Known as the "Milwaukee Cannibal" or the "Monster of Milwaukee," Jeffrey Dahmer shocked the world with his gruesome acts of necrophilia and cannibalism. Convicted of murdering 17 young men, Dahmer was killed by a fellow inmate in prison on November 28, 1994. His final words, spoken to his killer, were eerie: "I don't care if I live or die.
