Flight attendant’s picture with Tamil Nadu CM Vijay mid-flight sends fans into complete meltdown

A simple in-flight photo featuring newly sworn-in Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK leader C Joseph Vijay has now gone viral online, leaving fans of the actor-turned-politician completely thrilled.

Flight attendant Uma Meeankshi recently shared a picture with Vijay on Instagram, calling the interaction one of the most memorable moments from her crew duty. Alongside the selfie, she wrote, “Crew duty became extra special today with Honourable Chief Minister Shri C. Joseph Vijay (fondly known as Thalapathy) onboard.”



The post quickly picked up momentum on social media, especially among Vijay fans, who flooded the comments section with excitement and admiration. While some users called the moment “unbelievable,” others joked that the flight attendant had officially lived every fan’s dream. One comment simply read, “You are so lucky,” while another user wrote, “Dream come true.”

The viral moment comes at a time when Vijay has been making headlines for his first official visit to New Delhi since taking oath as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister earlier this month.

During the visit, Vijay met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in what marked their first official interaction after the formation of the new Tamil Nadu government. He also visited Tamil Nadu House in Delhi, where he was welcomed with a ceremonial guard of honour.



Vijay’s political rise has been one of the biggest talking points in Tamil Nadu this year. Earlier this month, he comfortably won the trust vote with support from Congress, CPI, CPI(M), VCK and IUML legislators, strengthening his position as the state’s new Chief Minister.

With that, the former superstar actor has now joined the list of legendary Tamil Nadu leaders who successfully transitioned from cinema to politics, including MG Ramachandran and J Jayalalithaa.

His party, TVK, also delivered one of the biggest political upsets in recent Tamil Nadu history by defeating both DMK and AIADMK, reshaping the state’s political landscape almost overnight.

Even as Vijay settles into his new political role, fans are still eagerly waiting for the release of his film Jana Nayagan, which is reportedly his final movie before fully stepping away from cinema.

The film stars Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol alongside Vijay. It was originally expected to hit theatres on January 9 but reportedly faced delays due to CBFC certification issues. Reports now suggest the film may release on June 19, although there has been no official confirmation yet.
