6 South films that have the potential to beat ‘Baahubali 2’ & ‘KGF- 2’ Box-Office Collections records
This year so far ‘KGF- 2’ & ‘RRR’ have become monstrous hits at the box office each minting more than Rs 1000 crores collections.‘KGF2’ has become a sensational ever Kannada film to do this rare feat. The Hindi version of the film has reportedly collected more than Rs 430 crores and is still making money despite several big films being released. In this regard there are several online fan fights to prove which film can beat the above film’s collections, lets's have a look.

‘Pushpa: The Rule’
After SS.Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali Franchise' It was ‘Pushpa’ that was connected with the Hindi belt and several of its dialogues and songs went viral with the audiences. The makers of ‘The Pushpa' sequel are also in plans to make it bigger and better post the success of the film across the nation. The film has reportedly minted over Rs 350+ crores for its first version and is expected to make much bigger in its sequel and has the potential to beat any one of the above collections.

‘Salaar’
Prashanth Neel’s next outing post the stupendous success of his ‘KGF:2’ is said to be one of the most violent films to be made in Indian cinema. The makers are reportedly making the film with a whopping budget of Rs 200 crores reprising the same ‘KGF2’ team and with a Pan-India cast, the film is slated for the 2023 second quarter.

‘Adipurush’
‘Adipurush’ is an upcoming mythological film based on ‘Ramayana’, the film is being directed by Om Raut that was shot in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon. The film is said to be the most expensive Indian film ever made. The film will also be released as a Pan-India film and this is the first film in which Prabhas will be seen in a mythological role.

‘Ponniyin Selvan: I or its series
The above film is from a master filmmaker from Kollywood, the film is said to be an epic historical fiction directed and co-produced by Maniratnam. The film is said to be a two cinematic part series base don’t eh 1955 novel of Kaliki Krishnamurthy’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan:1'. The film has a stellar cast from the South Indian film industry and the film music is being composed by A.R.Rahman, while the production was designed by Padmasri Thota Tharani and the cinematography by Ravi Varman, and Edited is taken care of by A. Sreekar Prasad.

‘Spirit’
Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who shot to fame with ‘Arjun Reddy’ has tasted success with ‘Kabir Singh’, a Hindi remake of his ‘AR’. Now he is busy shooting the most violent ‘Animal’ starring the Kapoors, Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, post this Sandeep will be reportedly directing Prabhas and it will be a sports action film, the film also has all chances to break all the above box-office breakers.

SS.Rajamouli – Mahesh Babu Film
Last, but not least, It's SS. Rajamouli’s film again and this time with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, Mahesh who enjoys a Pan-India following for several years has been asked time and again on his direct Hindi movie debut. This film project answers them all and the film is currently undergoing its pre-production work and will announce its shoot schedules, cast and crew soon.
