Tollywood Actor Ravi Teja who has dubbed a couple of his Telugu movies into Hindi did well on digital streaming platforms and Youtube. But the ones that were released in theatres last year weren't successful. Also, it has been quite a long since Ravi Teja has been looking for creative multi-starrers and they finally happened with Chiranjeevi's ‘Waltair Veerayya’ and in the upcoming ‘Ravanasura’ he is sharing the screen with Sushanth.
Now there have been reports making rounds in Tollywood saying he’ll be now teaming up with young, handsome and successful Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan with both playing the lead in the multi-starrer and the film is said to be a Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Maanaadu’ that revolves around a time loop concept with Simbu and SJ Suryah playing the lead roles, if the former actor is a protagonist, the latter is the antagonist in the movie.
However, the script will be a little altered to suit both the actors' public image of Varun and Ravi Teja and Ravi is said to be playing the first lead in this.
Though the Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Vikram Vedha’ has been remade with a completely Hindi cast, It couldn’t repeat the success of a Tamil film. Therefore the makers are now reportedly in talks with the above Bolly and Tolly actors to repeat the success of ‘Maanaadu’ in Hindi.
Ravi Teja is currently busy with ‘Ravanasura’ as the film is releasing in Telugu states tomorrow…on 7th April 2023. Though there is no official update on this, we'll have to wait and watch the outcome of these reports.
