Long before their real-life engagement on October 3 last year, the duo shared a pivotal moment in the 2018 blockbuster 'Geetha Govindam.' Speaking about her first-ever on-screen kiss, Mandanna revealed how daunting the technical aspect of intimacy can be, according to Filmygyan.




"For me, a kiss and all is a very personal thing... an intimate thing," the actress shared in the resurfaced clip. "Two hundred people were watching, and I was like, how? But I think it is the same for the co-actor also. Vijay was feeling the same thing as I was."

Despite the "shock" of the moment, Mandanna stated that the scene worked because it served the narrative of a married couple.

Sharing a series of cherished, behind-the-scenes images on Instagram, she marked the 7th anniversary of 'Geetha Govindam' with an emotional tribute. Reflecting on the 2018 blockbuster as her "most special film," Rashmika expressed disbelief at how quickly the years had flown by, sending out heartfelt wishes to the entire cast and crew.

The couple has chosen the ultra-luxurious ITC Mementoes for their pre-wedding and wedding festivities. Located 25 km outside Udaipur, the property is a fortress of privacy, perfect for a high-profile yet intimate celebration. The property features 117 private villas, each offering total privacy along with a river and a lake within its boundaries. A private helipad to ensure guests can arrive away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.

While the "VIROSH" announcement on Sunday was a grand gesture to their fans, the ceremony itself remains small. The guest list is capped at approximately 100 people.

While major Bollywood and Tollywood A-listers are reportedly absent from the list, the wedding is expected to see attendance from key Telangana politicians and a handful of close film directors who have been part of the couple's journey from co-stars to companions.

In their joint statement, the couple credited their fans for their union, saying, "With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’... we name our coming together in your honour."

For the unversed, the couple's shared history of working together traces back to two films, namely the 2018 hit 'Geetha Govindam' and the 2019 drama 'Dear Comrade.'
