Tollywood actor Navdeep appeared before the Enforcement Directorate officials in Hyderabad early on Monday to face questioning about a drugs and money laundering case. The actor was spotted carrying in an orange folder, possibly containing files about his bank transactions. The actor will be grilled for the rest of the day about his finances and activities related to a pub that was once owned by the actor.

Tollywood character artist and actor Uttej’s wife Padmavathi took her last breath at a private hospital in the city on Monday at 8:30 AM as she had been battling cancer for a while now. A grief-stricken Uttej and his family were consoled by his friends and well-wishers from the film industry, who visited the actor to pay condolences. Telugu film fraternity consoled Uttej and his family. They also attended the funeral, which took place at Mahaprasthanam at 1:30 PM on Monday.

Vijay Deverakonda has resumed the shooting of his upcoming film, Liger. The film's shooting was put on hold due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic. 'Liger,' directed by Puri Jagannadh, is reportedly the journey of a kickboxer who suffers from the speech impediment of stuttering. Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite Vijay in the film.

Tollywood actor Tanish Alladi on Friday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning in connection with a money-laundering probe linked to a four-year-old drug case. The actor reached the ED office around 10 a.m. in response to the summons issued by the agency. The ED sleuths are likely to question him if he knew Calvin Mascarenhas, a musician and prime accused in the case, and if attended parties held at 'F' Club, which was once owned by actor Navdeep. The actor may also be grilled about his financial transactions.

The cast and crew of Prabhas-starrer 'Adipurush' jetted off to Mumbai on Friday, September 17, to begin the last schedule of the film. They resumed shooting for the film post lockdown 2021 in Hyderabad in July. On Saturday, September 18, the team of 'Adipurush' has started the final schedule of the film in Mumbai, as per the latest reports. The shooting for the film is moving at a rapid speed as it is expected to be wrapped up by the third week of October.
