Venkatesh Maha's 'C/o Kancharapalem' certified, release date to be announced by Rana Daggubati soon

Venkatesh Maha’s ‘C/o Kancharapalem’, presented by

is one of the most awaited indie films in recent times.

The film was recently certified and while Rana Daggubati is all set to announce the release date, buzz is that it will release on September 7. Executive producer Venkat Siddareddy posted the certificate on social media and wrote, “Finally. #COKancharapalem is censored and we have UA. Releasing soon. This time it's for real. We are coming very soon.” (sic) Director Venkatesh Maha too posted the certificate and wrote, “Ready for the Labour Pains. Baby is going to enter the birth canal. Doctor in charge Mr. Rana Daggubati is going to announce the Delivery Date very soon.” (sic)

Social media has been buzz ever since the film was picked up by Suresh Productions and presented at the New York Indian Film Festival earlier this year. Everyone from the film industry and otherwise, who have been catching the previews of the film have nothing but praises for the film on social media, creating curiosity among film lovers. A slice-of-life romance, the film is an ode to the Kancharapalem locality of Visakhapatnam and features 80 of the residents in the film.

It remains to be seen when the film will release and how it’ll fare.
