The South Indian film industry is slowly recovering from the impacts of the pandemic that led to delayed films and financial losses. The situation is becoming normal, and it has allowed some relief for moviegoers to return to theatres and watch the movies of their favourite stars. Pawan Kalyan's 'Vakeel Saab'

Pawan Kalyan’s big-ticket release, Vakeel Saab, hit the theatres on April 9, 2021. Directed by Venu Sriram has delivered exactly the dhamaka he promised with Vakeel Saab. It’s no surprise that the film pulled in large crowds. Besides Akshay Kumar, the film also stars Anjali, Ananya Nagalla, Nivetha Thomas and Shruti Haasan. According to the box office reports, Vakeel Saab could become Pawan Kalyan’s biggest opening with an exceptional Day 1 collection. The film had earned Rs 52. 4 crores gross at the worldwide box office on the opening day itself.

Director Siva’s 'Annaatthe,' starring Rajinikanth, Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh, caused plenty of carnage at the box office this Diwali, earning a remarkable Rs 50. 85 crore gross in its debut on Friday, the second-highest opening since the Covid-19 outbreak began. The Ilayathalapathy-starrer has minted a record-breaking collection on its first day and shattered the record of his previous films. Akshay Kumar's 'Sooryavanshi'

Akshay Kumar’s much-anticipated cop drama 'Sooryavanshi' was released in theatres on November 5. As per the trade reports, early estimates state that the Akshay Kumar-starrer has got a record-break opening on its first day of release. The film has reportedly made Rs Rs 39. 60 crore gross on the first day of its release. Bankrolled by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films, the film also featured Katrina Kaif and Ajay Devgn.

Akhanda, the Nandamuri Balakrishna starring high-voltage action drama has a grand release on December 2. The Boyapati Sreenu directorial has been receiving positive reviews from all over.
