Unni Mukundan's Malayalam film Malikappuram's Telugu version to release on January 21

Malayalam hero Unni Mukundan starrer Malikappuram’s Telugu version is all set to attract the moviegoers of the south belt by hitting the screens on January 21. Geetha Film Distribution, who acquired the theatrical rights to the Hindi version, has announced the release date of the movie in a recent statement. ''Malayalam Sensational Divine Hit - Actor @Iamunnimukundan's #Malikappuram to be released in Telugu on January 21 by "Geetha Film Distributors". Currently, the film is running with packed houses all over Kerala. #AlluAravind #VishnuSasiShankar #AbhilashPillai #KavyaFilmCompany,'' the makers’ tweet read. The story of 'Malikappuram' revolves around a little girl who is waiting to meet her superhero, Ayyappan. The film is directed by debutant Vishnu Shashi Shankar with Unni Mukundan in the lead role. Child actors Sripath and Devananda played the lead roles in this film. Unni Mukundan has already said that he is dedicating this film to crores of Ayyappa devotees.It is produced by two leading production houses in Malayalam. The film is directed by Vishnu Shashi Shankar, son of director Shashi Shankar, who is famous for films like Narayam, Kunhikoonan, Mr Butler, and Mantramothiram. Editor- Shameer Mohammed, Cameraman- Vishnu Narayanan Namboothiri. This movie is scripted by Abhilash Pillai after blockbuster movies like Patham Valav, Night Drive, and Kadavar.
