Sobhita Dhulipala to work together again with Adivi Sesh

Model-turned-actress Sobhita Dhulipala, who made her debut in Tollywood with the 2018 movie Goodachari featuring Adivi Sesh in the lead, got an excellent opportunity to work with her Goodachari co-star Adivi Sesh in the upcoming film Major. She has been roped in to play a crucial role in Major, which will be helmed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. Adivi Sesh and Sobhita have previously worked together in Goodachari, and it will be their second time association. Bankrolled by Mahesh Babu's home banner Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu Entertainment (GMB) in association with Sony Pictures Productions, Major is said to be based on the Life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, a NSG Commando, who rescued hostages during the 26/11 terror attack on the Taj Hotel in Mumbai.

Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu's film shoot commences

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu's third film after Simha and Legend went on-floors in Hyderabad. The announcement of their third film together has already created a lot of buzz among their fans. The film, which was launched in December, last year, sees Thaman S composing the tunes. C Ram Prasad will be wielding the camera for the film produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy, under the banner of Dwaraka Creations.

Sequel to Nikhil Siddhartha's Karthikeya goes on floors

Nikhil Siddhartha starrer Karthikeya 2 went on to the floors in Tirupati. The film will be bankrolled jointly by Abhishek Agarwal's Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and Vivek Kuchibhotla and TG Vishwa Prasad's People Media Factory. Chandoo Mondeti who helmed Karthikeya is wielding the megaphone for this venture. The team has finalised young music sensation Kaala Bhairava to compose tunes for the film. Karthik Ghattamneni is on board for the cinematography.

PSPK 26 first look

The title and first look poster of Pawan Kalyan's 26th project was unveiled by the makers. Titled as Vakeel Saab, the film is the official remake of Pink and the Power Star of Telugu cinema is reprising the titular role played by Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by MCA fame Venu Sriram, the shooting of Vakeel Saab has kicked off early this year in Hyderabad. Vakeel Saab is jointly bankrolled by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations and Bay View Projects. SS Thaman is composing the tunes.

Nene Naa First Look

Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene fame Caarthick Raju is directing a female-centric film starring the gorgeous Regina Cassandra in the lead role. Touted to be a mystery thriller, the shooting of this Tamil Telugu bilingual has recently commenced in the rural parts of Tamil Nadu. The title and the first look poster of the crazy project have been unveiled by Kollywood superstar Vijay Sethupathi on social media. The first look poster features Regina Cassandra dressed up like a queen with slap marks on both sides of her face. Bengaluru bombshell Akshara Gowda has been roped in as the second lead. Vennela Kishore is playing a pivotal role in Nene Naa.

Manchu Manoj's first-look from Aham Brahmasmi

Manchu Manoj is back in a fit new avatar for Aham Brahmashmi, a project he's producing too. The first look of the film released today and sees him, almost like a sadhu, giving off three different expressions. The film will not just be made in Telugu but will be a pan-Indian one made in various languages. Aham Brahmasmi will be directed by Srikanth Reddy and will see music by Achu Rajamani and Ramesh Thamilmani. The film sees Tamil actress Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. Further details are awaited.

Nikhil Siddhartha's next titled 18 Pages

Nikhil Siddhartha, who will soon be seen in Karthikeya 2, has also announced his next titled 18 Pages. Directed by Surya Pratap of Kumari 21F fame, the romantic drama is penned by Sukumar, produced by Allu Aravind and will see music by Gopi Sundar. The muhurtam pooja of the film took place in Hyderabad which saw the cast and crew in attendance. What's more, it even saw Allu Arjun's adorable daughter Arha accompanying her grandfather as the chief guest of the pooja.

Akhil Akkineni gets injured on the sets of Most Eligible Bachelor

Akhil Akkineni sustained a minor injury on his right hand while shooting for his upcoming film' Most Eligible Bachelor' at the suburbs of the Hyderabad. A source told a leading daily, "Akhil's right-hand elbow was swollen and he was advised a week's rest by the doctors. As a result, the shooting of the film has been halted. The actor is currently recuperating at home, and he is expected to resume work after March 10." Starring Akhil and the gorgeous Pooja Hegde in lead roles, Most Eligible Bachelor is directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. Bankrolled by Bunny Vas and Vasu Varma under GA 2 Pictures, the music of the film is composed by Gopi Sunder, and the cinematography is handled by Pradeesh Varma.

Nishabdham trailer

The theatrical trailer of Madhavan and Anushka Shetty's forthcoming film Nishabdham has been unveiled by the makers. The Hemant Madhukar directorial features an ensemble star cast like Shalini Pandey, Michael Madsen, Anjali, Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju and Srinivasa Avasarala in pivotal roles. Touted to be a suspense-thriller, the crossover film has been mostly shot in Seattle and is gearing up for a massive release on April 2. While the cinematography has been handled by Shaneil Deo, Gopi Sunder composed the music and the action sequences were choreographed by Alex Terjiff.
