Touted to be a sports drama, the untitled project will be set against the backdrop of Hyderabad Race Club in Malakpet and according to reports, Venky has green-signalled the film after listening to the absorbing narration by Tharun. The Falaknuma Das actor is currently fine-tuning the screenplay and once the producers are ready, the film might go on floors.
Speculations are rife that the plot revolves around a horse jockey who later turns into a gambler on horse racing. While the shooting is expected to take place at the Hyderabad Race Club, it’s pretty interesting to know that the grandfather of Venkatesh’s son-in-law Vinayak Reddy is the chairman of it.
While the veteran hero is busy shooting for Venky Mama, Tharun Bhascker is looking forward to striking the right chord as a hero with Meeku Matrame Chepta.
