Sunil’s next titled as “Vedantham Raghavaiah”: Story penned by Harish Shankar

After enjoying a fruitful stint as a protagonist for close to eight years, popular Telugu actor Sunil made his comeback as a comedian with ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava’ and continued it with films like Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Chitralahari and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Surprisingly one & all in the 2020 release ‘Disco Raja’, the 46-year-old actor delivered a knock-out performance in the role of Utham Kumar and his villainy act in the climax stole the show.
After two years, Sunil is trying his luck as the lead actor once again with his upcoming film “Vedantham Raghavaiah”. While ‘Gabbar Singh’ director Harish Shankar is penning down the script for this project, Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta are bankrolling the film under 14 Reels Plus. Details regarding the director, cast and other crew will be unveiled shortly by the makers.
At present, Sunil is essaying the antagonist role of Ramaraju, a menacing cop in the upcoming film ‘Colour Photo’. Touted to be a romantic-drama set against a rustic backdrop, the film revolves around the love story between a dark-skinned guy and a fair girl. Starring Suhas and Chandini Chowdary in lead roles, the film is written and directed by debutante Sandeep Raj (aka Masala Sandeep) with MM Keeravani’s son Kala Bhairava composing the music.
The recently released teaser of ‘Colour Photo’ managed to strike the right chord with the netizens owing to its engaging plot, interesting premise and the role of Sunil as a baddie.
