Sharwanand, Nithya Menen's film goes on floors

Kranthi Madhav, who had made Onamalu, is gearing up to direct another film starring Sharwanand and Nithya Menen this year. This untitled film was launched earlier today in Hyderabad and several producers including Prasad V Potluri, Sharrath Marar, KL Narayana, Aswini Dutt, Ramesh Prasad and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore graced the event. K A Vallabha is producing the film and KS Rama Rao is presenting it.
Talking about the film, K S Rama Rao said, "The film is a soulful romantic entertainer. I was thrilled when I heard the script from Kranthi Madhav and it's going to be quite a challening film for both Sharwanand and Nithya Menen." Sharwanand is going to playing the role of an athlete and he said, "It's one of those rare films which is hard to find these days. I can't wait to start shooting the film." Nithya Menen described the film as an ode to the classics which have stood the test of time. "We can't judge whether a film is going to be a hit or a flop, but I want to keep experimenting in all the films I take up. I was bowled over when I heard the script and I suggested that Sharwanand will be perfect for the lead role," Nithya Menen said.
Gnana Sekhar is the cinematographer and Gopi Sundar is going to score the music. Sai Madhav Burra has penned the dialogues. The film will be shot in Hyderabad for the next few days and the makers are planning to release the film in August this year.
