‘Seetimaarr’: Gopichand’s sports-drama to hit the theaters on April 2nd

Billed to be a sports-drama, Gopichand will be playing the coach of the Andhra Kabaddi team in ‘Seetimaarr’ and leading lady Tamannaah Bhatia will be seen as Jwala Reddy, the coach of Telangana Kabaddi team.

It’s raining release dates in Telugu cinema. After RRR and Pushpa, the makers of Gopichand’s upcoming film ‘Seetimaarr’ have confirmed that the sports-drama will hit the worldwide theaters on April 2nd, 2021. Directed by ‘Goutham Nanda’ fame Sampath Nandi, the shooting part and the post-production formalities of the project are on the verge of completion and a high-octane climax sequence was recently been canned on the principal cast.

Speculations are rife that Bollywood actor Rohit Pathak has been roped in for a crucial role.
Starring former heroine Bhumika Chawla in a pivotal role, the supporting cast of the film include Posani Krishna Murali, Rao Ramesh, Rehaman, and Tarun Arora. While Mani Sharma is composing the music, Soundar Rajan is acting as the cinematographer. Bankrolled by Srinivasaa Silver Screen, the teaser is expected to be out soon.

Besides ‘Seetimaarr’, Tamannaah is playing the leading lady opposite Satya Dev in the Telugu remake of Love Mocktail and also reprising Tabu’s role in the Telugu remake of Andhadhun starring Nithiin and Nabha Natesh. On the other side, Macho hero Gopichand will be joining hands with Maruthi for his next project which will be jointly bankrolled by UV Creations and Geetha Arts.
