Samantha Ruth Prabhu shares goofy moments with husband Raj Nidimoru after intimate wedding, 'January has my heart already'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1, has been giving fans glimpses of her newly married life. The wedding took place in an intimate ceremony at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. Recently, the actress took to social media to share a series of light-hearted and personal pictures, offering a peek into her happy January moments with her husband.

Samantha’s January photo dump

On Saturday, Samantha shared a photo dump from January on Instagram. The first two pictures captured joyful moments from a recent pickleball match that she played with Raj Nidimoru. Another image featured Samantha at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where she was invited to attend the 77th Republic Day at-home reception.




Earlier this month, Samantha also marked a professional milestone by launching her athleisure clothing brand, Mile Collective. The homegrown contemporary activewear label was co-founded by Samantha along with Harshita Motaparthu and Pravishta Nadella.

Several pictures from the post showed Samantha in a playful mood, making funny faces with Raj. One image featured her lying on a bed with a bouquet of flowers, seemingly gifted by her husband. She also shared an unseen cosy photograph from their honeymoon in Lisbon, where she appeared to be soaking in the city’s nightlife.

Captioning the post, Samantha wrote, “January has my heart already.”

Samantha and Raj’s love story

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru first met on the sets of The Family Man Season 2. They later collaborated on the Indian adaptation of the American series Citadel, titled Citadel: Honey Bunny. Rumours about their relationship began doing the rounds in 2024 after the two were spotted together at public events, with reports also suggesting that they had moved in together.

While neither Samantha nor Raj publicly addressed the speculation, the actress frequently featured the filmmaker in her social media posts, further fuelling curiosity among fans.



The couple eventually tied the knot in a Linga Bhairava Vivaha ceremony at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore on December 1, in the presence of close friends and family. They announced the news through a joint Instagram post, sending fans into a frenzy.

Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The two parted ways in 2021 after four years of marriage. Raj Nidimoru was earlier married to Shhyamali De.
