Samantha Ruth Prabhu jokes that 'ROFL' was coined after her during an interaction with fans on social media
Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently held an AMA (ask me anything) on her social media handle, where she interacted with her fans. During the session, she shared some fun and light-hearted moments where she joked that the acronym ‘ROFL’ (Roll On the Floor Laughing) was actually coined after her.
The 'Maa Inti Bangaram' actress posted an Instagram story video where she was laughing uncontrollably and literally rolling on the floor. The video was shared after a fan asked her, “What is the funniest thing about yourself?” Responding to it, the ‘Kushi’ actor said, “ROFL was actually coined after me.”
During the same session, she also spoke about how she deals with social media comments, whether positive or negative. She said that praise does not affect her and neither do trolls. However, she made it clear that if someone brings negativity into her personal space, she will block them. “Praise doesn't move me. Trolls don't either. But if you bring negativity into my home, I will block you. The same way I keep my space clean, being blocked doesn't mean you affected me. It just means you are not welcome here,” she wrote.
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will next be seen on the big screen in the action drama ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’. The film is set to release worldwide on May 15, 2026. Sharing the update on social media, she wrote that the film will hit theatres this summer. The film, directed by BV Nandini Reddy, marks her reunion after ‘Oh Baby’. The film features Gulshan Devaiah and includes Diganth Manchale portraying Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s husband. It also features Gautami, Diganth, and others. The music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
