Sai Dharam Tej to play RSS member in 'Jawaan', not an Indian Army soldier?

Sai Dharam Tej and Mehreen Pirzada ‘Jawaan’ has changed various release dates, and if recent reports are to be believed, the film will release on December 1, 2017. Many were expecting the film to be a patriotic one and to be the story of a soldier due to its title. But turns out, Sai Dharam Tej does not play an armed forces soldier in the film at all. Reports state that he will be seen playing the role of a RSS member and a comrade of Hindutva. His character in the film will reportedly preach patriotism to friends and what he does to make India a better nation forms the story. Director BVS Ravi is said to have confirmed this and while the same is yet to be confirmed, it remains to be seen how the film will play out with fans and audience at large if it's true.
