RC 15: Here's all you need to know about Ram Charan, Kiara Advani and Shankar's film

Tollywood star Ram Charan will be seen in an intense avatar in the much-anticipated film, tentatively titled RC 15. A directorial venture of Shankar, RC 15, was announced on the eve of Valentine’s Day on February 12. Since then, the news has taken over social-media trends. Undoubtedly, Ram Charan’s next with director Shankar is one of the most-awaited films in Tollywood. After Vinaya Vidheya Rama, Ram Charan will be next seen in RRR. The film directed by SS Rajamouli is one of the big-budget films in the career of Ram Charan. Besides Ram Charan, RRR stars Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Olivia Morris in lead roles. Bankrolled by DVV Entertainments, the film has been wrapped up its shoot recently. Ram Charan had signed RC 15 with Shankar while shooting for SS Rajamouli’s RRR.

After a long search for the female lead, the makers of RC brought Kiara Advani on board as Ram Charan’s romantic interest in the film. The official Twitter handle of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the production house behind RC 15, shared the picture in July. The caption read, "Joining us on this super exciting journey is the talented and gorgeous @advani_kiara! Welcome on board." On the occasion of her birthday, the makers welcomed her on board for the film. RC 15 marks the second association between Ram Charan and Kiara Advani after Vinaya Vidheya Rama.

Actor Ram Charan’s upcoming multilingual magnum opus RC 15, which will be directed by Shankar, will be officially launched on September 8 with a pooja ceremony. The launch ceremony will take place in Hyderabad, as per the statement. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi will attend as chief guests. The project, which will go on floors soon, is expected to hit the theatres on Sankranti 2023.

RC 15, which will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, will be bankrolled on a massive scale by popular Tollywood producer Dil Raju under his home banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The makers take it as a prestigious project as it will mark their 50th production venture in Tollywood. It also marks the maiden collaboration of Ram Charan and Shankar. It is also speculated that the movie will have the biggest release that the industry has witnessed.

Ram Charan’s 15th film upped the excitement levels even further as the makers announced that they have roped in popular music director S Thaman for rendering the tunes for the film. This is not the first time Thaman is working for a film in which Ram Charan acted. The combo gave hit films like Bruce Lee: The Fighter and Naayak. It is now known that cinematographer Thirunavukarasu has been roped in to handle the camera for the film. Tirru has previously worked on the films Petta, Bharat Ane Nenu, Janatha Garage, Krrish 3, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and many more.
